On February 4th, 83-year-old Thomas Lee was driving across iced-more than East Okoboji Lake in Okoboji, Iowa in his Jeep when the ice cracked and the automobile started to sink. A modest band of great samaritans rushed to his help and managed to rescue each Lee and his six-year-old dog Cooper.
