The Detroit Auto Show is much less than two weeks away and we’re beginning to discover much more about what will debut in the Motor City.

Despite hyping the show as larger and much better than final year, organizers released the press conference schedule and it is a relative ghost town as only a handful of brands will have one thing new to present.

Ford will kick off the festivities on September 12 with the unveiling of the facelifted F-150. Undisguised prototypes have been spotted in current weeks and the truck will advantage from a mild refresh that consists of the usual styling tweaks as effectively as an updated interior.

Detroit Auto Show To Host Debuts From Cadillac, GMC, Ford, And Jeep

The show will then commence in earnest on September 13 with debuts from Cadillac, GMC, and Jeep. We cannot inform you what GM has planned, but Jeep will probably introduce the facelifted Gladiator. The model will stick to in the footsteps of the 2024 Wrangler and have revised styling as effectively as an upgraded interior with a new 12.three-inch infotainment technique.

Ram is notably absent from the list, but the company’s previously announced debut could be the 1500 TRX Final Edition. That remains to be noticed, but the unique edition is the final hurrah for the 702 hp (523 kW / 712 PS) pickup – at least for now.

Aside from conventional automotive brands, Alef Aeronautics will apparently showcase their Model A flying vehicle that can “drive on the street, take off vertically when needed and… still fit in a regular-sized driving lane, parking space and garage.”

That’s the Detroit Auto Show in a nutshell and it sounds fairly lackluster, specially right after an action-packed Monterey Car Week. However, we’ll be bringing you reside coverage from the show, so remain tuned.
