Certain Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models constructed in the course of the 2022 and 2023 model years have been hit with a recall in the United States due to a faulty sensor that could influence the reversing lights and back-up camera.

Jeep has revealed that choose Wrangler and Gladiator models constructed with a manual transmission could have an all gear sensor (AGS) that was not effectively manufactured. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards in the U.S. demand the reversing lights of autos to be activated when reverse gear is chosen and impacted models could not do this.
